The Toronto Wave Baseball Winter Junior Development Program is designed for select and rep-level athletes aged 10–13 who are committed to serious, structured off-season training. This is not a recreational or beginner program — athletes are expected to train with focus, intensity, and respect for coaching.

Focus Areas:

• Throwing mechanics and arm care
• Defensive skill work with position-specific instruction
• Hitting mechanics, contact adjustments, and approach
• Pitching mechanics, command, and mental preparation
• High-repetition, technical drills in a controlled indoor environment

Future MVP is a premier indoor baseball facility equipped with:

• Professional-grade turf surface
• Multiple hitting lanes and batting cages
• Mounds and flat ground throwing space
• Pitching machines and training technolog
• A controlled, high-rep environment ideal for serious development

This space allows us to focus on individual skill refinement and high-volume, position-specific work without weather interruptions.

Our experienced coaches train in small-group settings to ensure focused instruction and high-rep development. We work only with athletes who are serious about getting better — select and rep-level players with the discipline and mindset to match.

Toronto Wave Baseball provides a structured, demanding environment designed to help players build advanced skills and reach the next level of competition.

Tournament Opportunities (Invitation-Only)

As part of the Winter Junior Development Program, Toronto Wave Baseball will select a group of athletes to represent the program in two U.S. tournaments during Spring 2025.

Selection Process:

Tryouts will be held in February. Players will be selected based on their training performance, attitude, effort, and coachability throughout the winter program.

Tournament Schedule:

• March Break (Orlando, Florida) – U.S. tournament during the school break
• April (TBD, U.S. location) – Second U.S. tournament, details to follow

Tournament Fee:

The tournament cost is $1,000 + HST per player, which includes:

• Tournament entry fees
• Practice sessions leading up to the events
• Coaching staff travel and accommodation
• Team apparel or uniforms (if applicable)

Travel Arrangements:

Travel and accommodation will be coordinated by a designated travel agent. Families will receive travel package options and pricing directly from the agent. All travel-related payments will be handled separately.

Only athletes who demonstrate the required level of skill, work ethic, and focus will be invited to these events.

Acknowledgment

All families will be required to confirm their child’s availability and agree to this policy upon selection to the Winter Tournament Team.

Media & Consent

By enrolling in the program, all families agree to the use of player photos and videos for promotional purposes. These may be featured on our website or social media platforms to celebrate player development and team success.
